According to a report from Axios, a new name has appeared on the list of Intel's candidate CEOs, Johny Srouji. Intel has spent half a year looking for a new CEO, and Johny Srouji has worked with Intel for many years. Currently, Johny Srouji is Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies at Apple.

From 1990 to 2005, Johny Srouji worked in the Intel Israel department for 15 years, and IBM for 3 years. he later joined Apple in 2008 and has led the development of Apple's first self-designed chip, the A4. Srouji also oversees custom silicon and hardware technologies including batteries, application processors, storage controllers, sensors silicon, and other chipsets across Apple's entire product line.

It will have a pretty big impact on Apple if Intel appoint him as the new CEO, as Srouji and his team responsible in the development of Apple's A-Series chip, which led mobile industry in terms of performance, also the plans for an ARM-based Mac may not become a reality, plus Apple is rumored working on its own cellular moderns.
