After Apple released the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case yesterday, owners of iPhone X have wondered that if the case will also works for their devices, even though Apple only specifically mentioned that the case is compatible with the XS, iMore's Rene Ritchie, however, claims that iPhone X is compatible with the case.

Ritchie explains that when he putting Smart Battery Case on the iPhone X running iOS 12.1.2, he received an error suggesting it was not compatible with the case, but when he updating his iPhone X to iOS 12.1.3, he was able to charging the handset with the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case. And when an incompatibility pop up, just dismiss it, and will still charge your phone, though the fit is imprecise.

Apple touts that the new Smart Battery case for the iPhone models adds 30+ hours of talk time, 20+ hours of internet use and video playback thanks to its larger battery capacity than previous one. It is now available for order at Apple.com with the price of $129 and comes in black or white color.
