Apple Filed Two New iPad Models In Indian Database, Could Launch It In The Coming Weeks

According to the latest report from MySmartPrice, Apple has registered two unreleased iPads with the Indian Bureau of Standards, models A2124 and A2133. The two models may represent the upcoming iPad mini and the new entry-level iPad mentioned in the recent rumors.

At the end of January this year, Apple registered six unreleased iPad models in the Eurasian Economic Commission's database: A2123, A2124, A2153, A2154, A2133 and A2152, so Apple's Indian filings suggest that the release of the two iPads are getting closer and closer.

Apple will likely to update its 9.7-inch iPad and iPad mini lineup in the coming weeks. It is rumored that Apple to upgrade the internals of the two tablets, including faster processors. The next-generation entry-level iPad is also expected to be featured with a larger 10.2-inch display. Meanswhile, the iPad mini 5 will be the first upgrade of the iPad mini series since September 2015.

MySmartPrice said that the two new iPad Pros are also expected to be available in late 2019 or early 2020, but details are not yet clear. In addition, according to previous reports, Apple is expected to host its first special event in 2019 on March 25th, however, it is said that the event will be service-focused and there may not be hardware launches.
