Ming-Chi Kuo Publishes His Version Of "What To Expect From Apple In 2019"

TF International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has published his version of "what to expect from Apple in 2019", shared loads of information about Apple's upcoming products releases. The reliable analyst believes that Apple will be updating full of its product lineups this year: iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and Accessories.



Firstly, iPhone: Kuo said that all 2019 iPhone will continue to ship with Lightning port instead of the USB-C. However, the iPhone XS successor may support dual SIM dual Standby, while the 6.1-inch LCD model to feature 4GB of RAM (?). This year's iPhone may also add support for Ultra-Wide-Band (for indoor positioning and navigation), frosted glass casing, bilateral wireless charging, upgraded Face ID sensor, larger battery capacity and Triple-Lens camera (wide angle + telephoto + super wide-angle lens).

As for iPad, he expects Apple to launch two new iPad Pros that come with an upgraded processor. The analyst also predicts that Apple will release an updated iPad and iPad Mini model, in which the updated iPad screen size will increase to 10.2-inch rather than remain at 9.7-inch, and iPad mini will get a speed bump thanks to the processor upgrades.

Mac-wise, Apple is said to launch 3 new products this year, including the 16–16.5” MacBook Pro for professional designers, e-sports users, etc, a customizable Mac Pro that let you do an easy internal upgrade, and a 31.6” 6k3k display with a mini LED-like backlight design that delivers excellent picture quality.

And finally, Kuo forecasts that Apple Watch ECG feature to come to additional countries. new ceramic casing design is also in the work. When it comes to accessories, he says that the new AirPods (supporting for wireless charging and new Bluetooth standard) and AirPower will ship in the first half of 2019, while the new iPod Touch to come with an upgraded processor.
