Apple Released iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3 (U)

Apple has released iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, watchOS 5.2.1 and tvOS 12.3, which mark the third major software updates available for users. you can download iOS 12.3 on your devices directly via Settings - General - Software Update, macOS 10.14.5 via System Preferences - Software update, tvOS 12.3 via Settings - Software Update, and watchOS 5.2.1 on the Watch app on your iPhone then General - Software Update.


For both the tvOS 12.3 and iOS 12.3, Apple introduced an improved and updated TV app, while they have kept the "Watch Now" and "Up Next" section, it now uses a new machine learning recommendation engine that can recommend personalized fresh content based on what you like. The TV app is streamlined into Movies, TV Shows, Sports, and Children.

At the same time, a new feature called "Channel" is also added to the TV app,  which includes the ability to sign up for subscription service inside the TV app without opening other applications. TV streaming providers include CBS All Access, Nickelodeon, Mubi, The History Channel Vault, HBO, Comedy Central Now, Acorn TV, Britbox, Noggin, MTV Hits and Shudder are currently supported.

In addition, both the iOS 12.3 and macOS 10.14.5 adds the support for AirPlay 2, which allows user to share videos, photos, music and more from your Mac directly to AirPlay 2-enabled smart TVs, as well as the ability to follow a magazine from the Apple News+ catalog browsing view, whilst fixed a couple of bugs.

As for watchOS 5.2.1, it expanded the ECG functionality and Irregular heart rhythm notifications to Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland, and Slovakia. Updated: There are two new 2019 pride Apple Watch faces, one with rainbow stripes that take up the entirety of the watch face in eight colors, the other two are with analog hands, it will change colors each time when the wrist is being raised.

AirPlay 2

Apple TV app
- The Apple TV app features an all new design that highlights expertly curated collections and personalized recommendations
- Apple TV channels offer subscriptions to HBO, Showtime, Starz, and more, available to watch directly in the Apple TV app, online or off
- Subscriptions to Apple TV channels can be shared with up to six family members, with no new apps, accounts, or passwords needed
- New release movies are available to buy or rent in the Apple TV app, including the full catalog of 100,000+ movies and the largest selection of 4K HDR titles
- A new dedicated kids section helps you discover editorially-handpicked shows and movies safe for kids of all ages
- The Apple TV app can now intelligently suggest playing to the most likely Apple TVs or AirPlay 2-enabled TVs nearby

This update also includes bug fixes and improvements. This update:
- Adds the ability to follow a magazine from the Apple News+ catalog browsing view
- Apple Music’s For You tab now updates multiple times a day suggesting music based on themes like genres, artists, and moods you love
- Fixes an issue that could prevent Apple TV Remote from pausing video, controlling video, or changing volume on supported receivers
- Addresses an issue that could cause calls made using Wi-Fi calling to drop
- Fixes an issue where song information from a connected iPhone may not appear in a car’s display
This update:
- Adds AirPlay 2 support for sharing videos, photos, music and more from your Mac directly to your AirPlay 2-enabled smart TV
- Adds the ability to follow a magazine from the Apple News+ catalog browsing view
- Improves audio latency on MacBook Pro models introduced in 2018
- Fixes an issue that prevented certain very large OmniOutliner and OmniPlan documents from rendering properly
This update includes new features, improvements and bug fixes:

- ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 now available in Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland and Slovakia
- Irregular heart rhythm notifications now available in Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Poland and Slovakia
- Fixes an issue where the numbers on the Explorer face would not appear for some users
