At the Unpacked event in San Francisco, Samsung officially released the Galaxy S20 5G series. This series includes the Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra smartphones with major camera overhauls.
The Galaxy S20 features a 6.2-inch AMOLED hole-punch display, while the Galaxy S20 + sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch AMOLED display. S20 comes with a battery capacity of 4000 mAh, S20 + is 4500 mAh, whereas S20 Ultra packs a whopping 5000mAh battery. All three smartphones support 25W wireless charging.
Samsung today also announced its second-generation foldable smartphone, Z Flip, unlike its first folding smartphone, the Galaxy Fold, the Z Flip opens the same size as a regular smartphone, halved in length and doubled in thickness when folded.
The screen of Z Flip is 6.7 inches when opened, which is also a hole-punch screen design. This smartphone uses foldable ultra-thin glass that can be folded 200,000 times. After being folded at 90 degrees, the upper part of the screen can be used as a display, and the lower part is the control interface. The Z Flip has a 3300 mAh battery and starts at $1380.
