Leaks Show iPhone 12 With Smaller Notch, iOS 14 Home Screen Widgets

Twitter user @choco_bit shared a photo that claims to be the new design form of iPhone 12, offer us an early at Apple's upcoming flagship smartphones and what it have in-store for customers alike.

We can see from the picture that the notch of iPhone 12 would seems a third smaller than the one found on iPhone 11. This is in line with reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in which that iPhone this year would feature a smaller front camera lens for an improved screen to bezel ratio, therefore, smaller notch.

Interestingly, choco_bit also shared a photo that's supposed to show off the new Home Screen design in iOS 14, where on the device's main display are what look like widgets in icons. A 9to5Mac report over the weekend also suggested that Apple is working to finally bring widgets to the ‌iPhone‌ Home Screen with iOS 14.

Speaking of Home Screen widgets, Parker Ortolani released relevant new concept design. Parker's concept depicts a "SpringKit" framework for developers to use when creating widgets for the iPhone Home Screen. For example, the built-in Weather app can provide a real-time icon that is slightly larger than the normal app icon that displays outdoor temperature and weather conditions. The Activity app could info the amount of calories you burned during the day.

These widgets in iOS 14 are going to be quite distinct from those currently "fixed" in iPadOS 13, as the iOS 14 widgets can move freely on the home screen, just like the app icon. But will you use it?
