Leak Says Apple Watch Series 6 To Gain Mental Health Abnormalities Detection

A new leak is inferring that Apple Watch Series 6 will gain Mental Health Abnormalities Detection, a longer battery life, and expand existing sensors so that the wearable gadget can measure blood oxygen levels. 


The leak from Twitter user Nikias Molina, which has been confirmed by reputable leaker Jon Prosser, claims that Apple Watch Series 6 will include a long-rumored sleep tracking feature, coupled with the Mental Health Abnormalities Detection, these will be an extension of the current heart rate monitoring capabilities, able to perceive the user's signs of irregular anxiety.

Apple Watch Series 6 may also come with a Pulse Oximeter to test blood oxygen levels, reads the tweet. To those who do not know what blood oxygen levels are, it is often used while sleeping to pick up symptoms of sleep apnea or other sleep and breathing irregularities. However, it will require FDA approval before it can be used by consumers as a health monitoring device, similar to the ECG app.
