Foxconn's India Plant Begins To Produce Apple's Top-Tier iPhone 11

Today, The Economic Times cited inside sources that Foxconn's Indian plant began to produce iPhone 11.

First released by Apple in September 2019,  the iPhone 11 utilizes a 6.1-inch LCD display, a dual-lens camera setup, and is implemented with an A13 bionic chip.

In the midst of this month, Reuters quoted two people familiar with the matter as saying that Foxconn plans to invest up to $1 billion to expand an iPhone assembly plant in southern India.

Foxconn responded to this by saying that they do not comment on any market rumors about existing and potential customers, products, and supply chain partners.

In June of this year, Foxconn Chairman Terry Gou revealed at the shareholders' meeting that the next focus will be on India.
