TestFlight, the beta software distribution platform that Apple acquired six years ago, has been updated to version 2.7.0 today. This update, like in the past, adds stability improvements and bug fixes, according to release notes. But, there is another hidden enhancement that has not been mentioned, the new icon.

Apple has introduced a new design to the app, and although it continues to feature propellers, the new icon adds a 3D effect and eliminates the simplicity of the previous icon.

Developers use TestFlight to provide a test version of the app to testers. so that their app is ready for release.

Oh, and by the way, it appears that the new TestFlight version also supports App Clips, which Apple says it offers a great way for users to quickly access and experience what your app has to offer.
