Apple Supplier Quanta Reportedly To Manufacture New Entry-Level MacBook Models

As reported by Taiwanese website DigiTimes, Apple plans to release inexpensive notebooks that will be manufactured by Quanta. The report didn’t provide additional information. Yet, both Bloomberg and reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that Apple will launch a lower-priced MacBook model.

What we can expect from new entry-level MacBook is that Cupertino most likely to adopt faster processors, though rumors suggested that Intel's seventh-generation of Kaby Lake would be the choice, as Retina display that also seems to come to the budget laptop. Nonetheless, we are not clear if it either to be called MacBook Air or just MacBook 2018.

But Quanta’s shipments are expected to also rise above 10 million units in the fourth quarter thanks to orders for Apple’s new inexpensive notebooks.

As for when the MacBook model comes out, it’s perfectly logical to say that Apple will host an event in October, where they will launch the new iMac, Mac mini, MacBooks, and the new iPad Pro with Face ID and bezel-less screens.
