According to 9to5Mac, users will be able to pre-order Beats' Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones on Apple.com starting on Friday, May 3 in the US and Canada, with the launch set to begin one week later on May 10th.
The Powerbeats Pro is a wireless earphone that's designed for elite athletes, it includes the "Hey Siri" feature thanks to Apple's custom-designed H1 chip. It used the "Class 1 Bluetooth technology" for extended range and fewer dropouts. According to Apple, the Powerbeats Pro also boast powerful, balanced audio, and delivers pure sound reproduction, enhanced clarity, and improved dynamic range.
In terms of design, each earbud has physical controls with a dedicated volume button for adjusting the volume, and a button for answering and rejecting calls and changing the track currently playing. And, for the first time, you can purchase the Powerbeats Pro in four colors: Black, Ivory, Moss, and Navy.
Other highlights of PowerBeats Pro include up to 9 hours of battery life; sweat and water resistance; comes with the magnetic closure case that provides up to 24 hours of additional playback; 23 percent smaller and 17 percent lighter than its predecessor; automatically detect when they are in your ear. As for the price, which will be listed for $250, charge you an extra of $50 - $90 than the Gen 2 AirPods.
