macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Developer Beta Changes


Apple released the first developer beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.1 a few days after macOS Catalina was released to the public. The macOS Catalina 10.15.1 beta consists of changes in the categories of adding support to a new GPU and Photos app improvements.

macOS 10.15.1 developer beta 1 adds in support to the AMD Navi RDNA, which is a newly released gaming GPU. On the other hand, the Photo app now looks like iOS 13, which has added more levels of the organization to sort out photos and videos. All of the user’s photos, toppling by their favourites, edited images, photos and videos are now categorized in the All Photos view. Titles are also added in this view as well.

Thus far, macOS Catalina 10.15.1 is only available to developers as a developer beta, but it will also be available to other beta testers in a few more days. This macOS beta has only 2 minor changes, but Apple will be adding more features and updates to future macOS betas in the coming days. macOS 10.15.1 will be publicly available in a few weeks.
