Next year’s iPad Pro models will come with a triple camera system and in 11 and 12.9-inch sizes, with renders already available from many sources. These iPads are expected to be released next spring, in March 2020. This adds to the rumors about releasing the iPad Pro this year, but it wasn’t made possible as of now.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects the iPad Pro 2020 with a release date in early 2020, which is the time of the year Apple usually releases new iPad models. Dummy models tested out by Macrumors has the triple camera system found in the iPhone 11 Pro, but the casing material is undefined if whether the next iPad Pro will have an entire aluminum chassis or a glass back. The camera may also have a time-of-flight system that is present in the iPhone 12 Pro rumors, which uses a laser to determine the distance of objects via 3D mapping.

Next year’s 12.9 inches iPad Pro will also have a mini-LED display, according to a past report from Kuo in late 2019. In addition, as the report only includes the 12.9 inch iPad model, it is unclear if only this size or the 11-inch model will get a new redesign, or if Apple is going to release both these models.
