New tfp0 Vulnerability Found Could Lead To An iPhone 11 Pro/XS jailbreak

We have reported beforehand that the so-called checkm8 bootrom vulnerability has been discovered on older models such as iPhone 5s to iPhone X and is not compatible with newer iPhones and iPads. The good news, though, is that now a hacker has identified a new tfp0 vulnerability, which could lay the foundations for an iOS 13.3 iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XS jailbreak.

The tfp0 vulnerability was discovered by Twitter user 08Tc3wBB and checked by security researcher @RazMashat. It has been confirmed to work on A12 and A13 Bionic devices running iOS 13.3.

Nevertheless, the video released by 08Tc3wBB didn't reveal much, only showing the forced crash of the Apple News app. But it's still refreshing to be able to use tfp0 bug to jailbreak iOS 13.3 on newer iPhone and iPad models.

And apparently, this is not the first tfp0 attack on the iOS 13 or iPhone 11 series. In fact, the tfp0 vulnerability of Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro was discovered within a few days of the launch of these devices, but it has never been compiled into a real jailbreak tool. So there's still a lot of work to be done before actually utilizing these tfp0 bugs to jailbreak iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone XS.

Therefore, we recommend that those who want to jailbreak their iOS devices stay on iOS 13.3, as soon as Apple releases iOS 13.3.1, they will soon be stopped signing iOS 13.3, that is, you simply won't be able to downgrade to the version if you change your mind and go to jailbreak alternatively.
