The lack of ports has always been one of the biggest notches in the MacBook. Though the Thunderbolt 3 interface is more unified and efficient, if you fancy connecting the HDMI cable and SD card to your laptop, thou have to browse for accessories such as adapters and docking stations. Not only did it cost more, but the neatness of the desktop was also considerably degraded.
A multifunctional keyboard dubbed Kolude KD-K1 Keyhub has recently emerged on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Keyhub is more than just a very smooth, comfortable and beautifully designed keypad—it’s also a USB Hub that features three USB-A 3.0, one USB-A 2.0 interfaces, and a USB-C interface, one of which supports 18W-100W PD fast charge. It also provides an HDMI interface, as well as a TF card and SD card slot, which can effortlessly sync photos from the camera to your MacBook.
The MacBook Butterfly Keyboard has always made people feel unpleasant and prone to rip, far too many people will use an external keyboard, and Keyhub will certainly meet this demand. The casing is made of aluminum, and the keycap is built with a more ergonomic circular depression. The Keyhub interior uses a traditional scissor-like structure with short key movement, high durability, and easy replacement.
When you use it, just plug the MacBook's charging cable into the Keyboard's fast-charging port, and then utilize the USB Type-C cable included in the box to connect the laptop to the keyboard.
Noted that the external 4K screen can only accommodate up to 30 frames if the HDMI keyboard interface is connected. MacBook users are better off buying an HDMI-Type-C cable and connecting it to their computer.
Keyhub currently offers two colors, Silver and Space gray, and supports English, French, German, Italian and other languages. The Fn function keys are essentially the same as the MacBook. While Keyhub is primarily designed for MacBook, it can also be linked to Windows, Linux, Android, iOS and other devices. It will be shipped to backers in June of this year. Here is the link to back this project.
