iPhone 12 Pro Or To Sport 120Hz ProMotion Display, Smaller Notch, And More

YouTuber EverythingApplePro and leaker Max Weinbach has shared the latest iPhone 12 leaks in which claims the device that will be released this fall will sport a 120Hz ProMotion Display. The models supporting the 120Hz refresh rate would only include the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

iPhone 12 Pro will automatically switch between 60Hz and 120Hz settings to preserve battery. Because of the 120Hz refresh rate, Weinbach supposes the battery capacity of the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max to exceed 4400 mAh. On the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro, Apple has significantly improved battery capacity.

The proMotion Display was first introduced on iPad Pro a few years ago for fluid scrolling, greater responsiveness, and smoother motion content. It's worth noting that the device also includes the ability to adjust the display refresh rate to match the movement of the content and reduces power consumption.

EverythingApplePro also referenced to the improvement of the Face ID, including a slimmer notch and that Face ID will feature a wider angle of view to support unlocking at a wider range of angles.

Apple is also predicted to enhance the iPhone 12 Pro low-light shooting to make autofocus faster. The LiDAR scanner, on the other hand, could be used to improve the accuracy of Portrait Mode photos, as well as for more immersive augmented reality experiences.

Lastly, Weinbach insisted the optical zoom of the iPhone 12 Pro will also be upgraded from the current 2x to 3x, allows for a higher quality of digital zoom.
