Singapore’s third Apple retail store is about to open in Marina Bay Sands. The new location is established in a spectacular sphere floating structure on the water of Marina Bay, which will be the world’s first Apple retail store settled on such a site.

We will soon open the doors to our new store by the Bay. Apple Marina Bay Sands will be at the heart of creativity, a place we’ve made for you to capture your ideas and passions. It will be a space for you to explore, connect and create something new. We can't wait to see where your imagination takes you.

The store in Marina Bay Sands that Apple has not announced a specific opening date, only said it will open "soon". This is also Apple's third retail store in Singapore. The first Apple store in Knightsbridge, Orchard Road opened in 2017, and the second store in Jewel Changi Airport opened in July last year.

It is reported that this Apple Store is connected to the coast by a boardwalk and an underwater passage. The spherical dome emits a "gentle light" at night, and there is an eyelet (circular window) at the top to allow light to enter.

From 2011 to 2016, the Spherical building was occupied and operated by the mega night club Avalon. The structure adopted by the club is a duplex structure with an area of 17,000 square feet (approximately 1,579 square meters).
