iPhone 11 Crowned The Best Smartphone In The First Half Of 2020

The latest research report shared by Omdia indicates that the smartphone with the highest shipment in the first half of this year is the iPhone 11, and the shipment of other iPhone models are also in the top ten. The report suggested that iPhone 11 is the most popular smartphone in the first half of 2020.

Last year, the most popular smartphone was the iPhone XR, and this year iPhone 11 continues this tradition. Omdia's data shows that iPhone 11 shipments reached 37.7 million in 2H20, which is 10.8 million more than last year's iPhone XR.

Although hit by the pandemic, iPhone sales were still immeasurable this year, and iPhone 11 has made a great contribution. Confronted with iPhone XR, iPhone 11 has a lower price, including several hardware upgrades, such as a dual-lens camera, A13 Bionic chip, and a bigger battery.

In the first half of this year, the shipment of the all-new iPhone SE was 8.7 million. However, compared with last year's iPhone XS and XS Max, the shipments of iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have declined to 6.7 million and 7.7 million respectively.

Among the top ten, the 2020 iPhone SE ranked fifth, iPhone XR stood sixth, iPhone 11 Pro Max ranked seventh, and iPhone 11 Pro ranked tenth. This means that in the list of the most popular smartphones in the first half of 2020, Apple won 5 seats in the top ten. Other best-selling smartphones include Samsung Galaxy A51 and several Redmi phones.
