Apple To Hold Event On October 13 To Announce iPhone 12

It is official: Apple will hold a digital-only event on Tuesday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, where the company is expected to announce the iPhone 12 lineup.

Rumor has it that Apple will launch four iPhone 12 models this year, one with a 5.4-inch display, two with a 6.1-inch display, and one with a 6.7-inch display. The 5.4-inch iPhone will be called iPhone 12 mini.

All four iPhones will be featured with OLED displays and support 5G. In terms of design, iPhone 12 may adopt the iPad Pro-style look.

Meanwhile, the high-end Pro iPhone may include the LiDAR scanner that first appeared on the 2020 iPad Pro, and comes with a 5-nanometer process A14 Bionic chip.

Though Apple will no longer provide iPhone power adapters and EarPods in the box, a brand new braided USB-C to Lightning cable may be offered in the package.

Other than the iPhone 12 lineup, we also expecting Apple to announce its high-end wireless headphones dubbed AirPods Studio, Bluetooth tracking device AirTags, as well as a smaller and cheaper HomePod, and ARM-based Mac.
