Analyst Predicted Apple May Launching Cheaper HomePods, iPhone SE 2, Apple Pencil For iPhone X Plus, And More This Year

According to an analyst said today in an investor memo seen by AppleInsider, Apple plans to release a "low-end" model this fall which is priced between $150 and $200. The analyst from Rosenblatt Securities, whose name is Jun Zhang predicted that new Apple Pencil for a rumored 6.5-inch "iPhone X Plus could launch this fall also.

Zhang is unclear what features the second HomePod model might have, but he expected to ship about 6 million units of the full-size product. It's logical to think that the cheaper HomePod would offer a similar benefit for Siri, but Apple might not be willing to sacrifice sound, so we are questioning about the rumors.

The analyst is also expecting a new Apple Pencil, and is not just for the iPad Pro but for a rumored 6.5-inch OLED "iPhone X Plus," a large version of the current iPhone X. Giving the device a stylus might put it in more direct competition with Samsung's Galaxy Note series.

On the other hand, Zhang believed that Apple's 2018 lineup will include things like a faster iPhone SE, it's not first time we heard about the cheaper phone, Digitimes and TrendForce were also predicted  the existence. He also suggested possibility of a (Product)Red iPhone 8 Plus and an iPad Pro with Face ID.
