macOS 10.14 Screenshots Leaked, Revealed New True Dark Mode, Apple News App, And More

Steve Troughton Smith, who is famous for discovering hidden easter eggs in macOS and iOS, shared several macOS 10.14 screenshots today, which revealed many new features of the new system.

First of all, in these screenshots, we can clearly see the new macOS system is in a brand new dark mode. The current dark mode in macOS is not thorough enough. It just turns the Dock and menu bar into the dark theme. While macOS 10.14 can transfer the entire system to dark colors.

Furthermore, we also saw the new News app on the Dock, which is only available for iOS and watchOS currently. Of course, there is also a new Xcode 10 for developers and the App Store app will gain video previews.

Steve Troughton Smith did not disclose where he got the screenshots from. Anyway, this time, macOS 10.14 was finally implemented a true dark mode, which should be pleased by many users.
