Apple Card Application Website Goes Live Ahead Of The Official Launch

Ahead of the forthcoming launch of Apple Card, Apple has activated the wallet.apple.com website and provided videos to walkthrough users for how to sign up for Apple Card, the site notes that emails have been sent to certain users and invited them to the "Apple Card Preview" program.


Users who receive an invitation email can sign up for an Apple Card via the wallet app on the iPhone. In the wallet app, click the + icon in the top right corner and select Apple Card. Applicants need to fill their personal information. According to Apple, the Apple Card is compatible with these devices:
  • iPhone models with Face ID
  • iPhone models with Touch ID (except for iPhone 5s) 
  • iPad models with Touch or Face ID
Apple Pay can be used immediately after activation of the Apple Card, and physical titanium cards will be sent out in a few days. For now, the Apple Card is only available to US citizens that are at least 18 years of age or older. Oh, you can view the Apple Card Customer Agreement by clicking the link.

Apple Card is a credit card service by Apple in partnership with the Goldman Sachs, it has no fee, but it will charge you an interest rate of between 13.4% and 24.4%. In addition to using it alongside the Apple Pay, a titanium credit card will also be offered for use in locations that do not support Apple Pay. Plus, Users will receive Daily Cash as well as 1~3% Cashback with purchases made with Apple Card, Apple Pay, and the physical titanium card.
