Apple Releases Second Beta Of iOS 11.2, macOS 10.13.2, watchOS 4.2, And tvOS 11,2 To Developers

Apple today releases the second beta of an upcoming iOS 11.2 update to developers, one week after releasing the first beta of iOS 11.2 and a little under a week after releasing the iOS 11.1 update. Beta testers need to visit the Apple Developer Center to download the beta profile, in order to update your device to iOS 11.2, navigate to Settings - Software Update.

Few New changes discovered in the first iOS 11.2 beta, such as iPhone 8/X marketing still wallpapers now available on older iPhones, Calculator bug caused by slow animation fixed, Accessibility settings preference panel has been rearranged, and finally, Continuous playback for Podcasts app is back in iOS 11.2. There's still no sign of Apple Pay Cash or Messages in iCloud yet.

Some of other small tweaks also found in the beta, like redesigned camera emoji, and a new loading animation for Live Photos effects, and it's appears to introduce the TV app for Sweden and Norway. Although there's couple promised iOS 11 features have not yet shown up in the current beta but could be added ahead of the update's release, including AirPlay 2, P2P Apple Pay, and iCloud Messages.

Aside from it. Apple today also releases the second beta of an upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 update to developers. one week after seeding the first beta. The beta can be downloaded by Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store with the proper profile installed. The update likely to include bug fixes and performance improvements.

Like usual, Apple today seeded the second beta of an upcoming watchOS 4.2 update to developers. one week after releasing the first watchOS 4.2 beta. Once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Apple Dev Center, the new watchOS 4.1 beta can be obtained through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General -> Software update.

It's not clear what new features watchOS 4.2 will introduce, but it could bring support for Apple Pay Cash, Apple's new peer-to-peer payments feature. Aside from releasing watchOS 4.2, Apple also seed the second tvOS 11.2 beta, the beta is available through the Software Update mechanism on an Apple TV with an appropriate configuration profile installed.

As for new changes in the beta, according to release notes accompanying the download, the tvOS 11.2 now restores the Unwatched category in the Home Sharing feature for Movies, TV Shows and Home Video. It also enables automatic frame rate and dynamic range switching on Apple TV 4K (Via iDB).
