Apple has seeded the third beta of iOS 12.1 to developers, a week after it seeded beta 2, as it also pushed beta updates to tvOS 12.1 and watchOS 5.2. To install these updates, developers required to get a proper profile, from there to install it via Software Update in Settings.


iOS 12.1 introduces many Unicode 11 emojis including red hair, gray hair, curly hair, and no hair, as well as cold face, party face, pleading face, face with hearts, Nazar amulet, an infinity symbol, along with new animals such as kangaroo, peacock, parrot, lobster, and food items include mango, lettuce, cupcake, and mooncake.

iOS 12.1 also re-added Group Facetime since it removed the feature previously in iOS 12.0, the feature will allow to Facetime Video call up to 32 people at once. iOS 12.1 will also introduce support ECG app that specially made for Apple Watch Series 4 models, however, as of now, it appears like the EGG app has removed for certain reason.

For watchOS 5, you may have noticed that when Apple introduced Apple Watch Series 4 last week, there is a footnote in the bottom of a slide, which says watchOS 5.1 will include ECG/EKG app support. As always, tvOS beta update hardly introduce any new feature or tweaks whatsoever, made me wonder if developers actually testing the software.

Apple today released the iOS 11.4.1 software update, which is the fifteenth update for iOS 11 since its release in September last year. Today's iOS 11.4.1 may be the last release of iOS 11. To download iOS 11.4.1 on all eligible devices, go to the Settings app - General - Software Update.

This is a minor update that fixes various bugs that occurred to follow the release of iOS 11.4 as it did not include any new features. According to Apple's release note, it improves the reliability of syncing mail, contacts, and notes with Microsoft's Exchange accounts, and it introduced USB Restricted Mode to prevent hacking tools from unlocking iOS devices.


Apple today also released the watchOS 4.3.2 and tvOS 11.4.1 update. watchOS 4.3.1 can be updated via the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Whilst tvOS 11.4.1 can be updated through Apple TV's Settings app - Software Update. watchOS 4.3.2 mainly fixes bugs and improves performance, same goes for tvOS 11.4.1.

Apple delivered a big pile of software updates this morning, with the company later today finally came up with macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, which brought "AirPlay 2" feature to iTunes, likewise it improved the stability and security of the Mac. Apple recommends that all users install this update in the Update page of the App Store app.

Apple this morning seeded an updated beta of an upcoming watchOS 5 update after users report the beta bricked devices. To obtain the beta, you'll need the developer profile. Once the profile is in position, you can download it by using the Watch app on the iPhone and then going to General - Software Update.

watchOS 5 introduced various new features, including Activity Competitions with your friends, walkie-talkie for easier communicating with each other, auto workout detection, new Podcasts app, Siri watch face for third-party apps, new workout type like hiking and yoga, WebKit support for seeing websites on your wrist, and more!

Apple pushes iOS beta updates constantly, just when you were still celebrating and experiencing new features of iOS 11.4, Apple went live with a beta version of iOS 11.4.1. You can download it with a beta profile as always.

Apple today released official version of watchOS 4.3 update to developers, with several new features and bug fixes. To download the watchOS beta, you'll need go to dedicated Watch app on the iPhone and then General --> Software update.

The watchOS 4.3 update brings support for Nightstand mode when in portrait orientation, it includes a new charging animation when placing the Apple Watch on the charger that's clearly for AirPower, and it adds Activity information to the Siri watch face.

Alongside iOS 11.2.5, Apple today also released macOS 10.13.3 for all users now. You can download the macOS High Sierra of 10.13.2 directly through the Mac App Store's Software Update function. Release notes for the new software update specifically call out a fix for Messages.

All updates listed above are focus on performance improvements and bug fixes to address issues that were discovered previously versions. This new feature defaults to a daily news recap podcast by The Washington Post, users can also be switch to Fox News, NPR, or CNN shows upon request. Sixth beta of tvOS 11.2.5 is also seeded to Apple TV users as well, one week after seeding the fifth beta. the new tvOS 11.2.5 developer beta can be downloaded onto the Apple TV via a profile installed using Xcode.

Base on the version numbers, we don't see any new features or changes might be included in the tvOS 11.2.5 update, but it likely to focuses primarily on bug fixes and performance improvements rather than major outward-facing changes.
