Geekbench Leaks iPhone X 2 Performance Improvement, 10% Faster Than Current Model, Ships With 4GB RAM

Geekbench, A well-known benchmark app has leaked benchmark result that is suspected to be the 2018 new iPhone, since the device code is 11,2, and the motherboard model is D321AP, it appears that this could be iPhone 11 or iPhone 9. (Via iGeneration)

The performance of this new iPhone is limited compared to the iPhone X. For instance, the iPhone X has single-core scores of 4218, while the new iPhone has scored 4673, a 10% of speed increase. As for the multi-core performance, it is 5% faster than iPhone X.


The processor, however, is similar to the A11 Chip that’s inside of the 2017 iPhone, but the RAM has been increased from 2815MB (3GB) to 3748MB (4GB), along with the L1 instruction cache and data cache have been increased from 32KB to 128KB.

Apple is rumored to introduce three new iPhones this year, a 6.1-inch LCD model, a second-generation of iPhone X model, a larger 6.5-inch OLED model. It’s widely believed in which Apple is lowering the the the price of the iPhones, with LCD iPhone could cost $699-$799, iPhone X to be priced at $899, and iPhone X Plus for $999.
