iPhone 12 Likely To Ship With A Powerful 20-Watt USB-C Power Adapter

Apple would provide a powerful 20-watt USB-C power adapter for the iPhone 12, according to leaker Mr. White on Twitter, who posted a photo of the new charger alongside alleged prototypes.

Currently, Apple ships the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max with an 18-watt power adapter and the iPhone 11 with a considerably less powerful 5-watt charger.

By including a 20-watt USB-C power adapter, users should experience even faster-charging speeds, making fast-charging out of the box.

According to MySmartPrice, a new USB-C power adapter with the same model ID of A2305 as seen in the leaked photo has appeared in the Norwegian electronics certification database. The Certification was received on 28 February 2020. This further establishes the creditworthiness of the leak.

Nevertheless, rumors have suggested that 2020 iPhones won't come with Apple's EarPods headphones.

Apple is expected to four ‌iPhone 12‌ models this year: a new 5.4-inch device, two 6.1-inch models, and one 6.7-inch handset. The 6.7-inch ‌‌‌model and a 6.1-inch model will be higher-end OLED devices with triple-lens cameras.
