But according to the head of security for Android, David Kleidermacher who says that the mobile operating system is now as safe as Apple iPhone.

As reported by CENT, Kleidermacher claims that when a major Android flaw shows up, the company has to send updated software to the companies that sell Android phones, so that can take a really long time, or not happen at all. That led users to download the malicious and harmful apps, because of that, Google released Play Protect that seeks to identify and remove harmful apps.
