Apple Purchases Yet Another TV Show Called "Home", Featuring World's Most Extraordinary Houses

According to Variety, Apple has inked a deal for yet another television show, and is called Home, it'll be a documentary series based on ‘extraordinary’ houses as well their creators. The documentary is being produced by Altimeter Films, Time Inc. Productions, and Media Weaver Entertainment.

Variety says the series will include 10 episodes to start, each lasting one hour. It will offer a "never-before-seen look inside the world's most extraordinary homes" while also delving into the imaginations of the visionaries who dreamed them up and built them. The shows sound more like MTV's "Cribs" but with more of a design and architecture focus.

The series will offer viewers a never-before-seen look inside the world’s most extraordinary homes, and delves into the minds of the people who built them.

"Home", which could debut at least one series later in 2018 is the first documentary-style series that Apple has ordered thus far under the leadership of Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, two former Sony executives Apple brought on last June to run an original content division within the company.

The tech giant is also working on several other shows in addition to "Home," like Steven Spielberg’s "Amazing Stories" sci-fi series, a morning show drama which starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and a most recent one called the "Are You Sleeping," a psychological thriller starring Octavia Spencer that focuses on a podcast that reopens a murder case.
