New Rumor Suggested That iPhone SE 2 To Pick Up Support For Wireless Charging

We’ve seen rumors about the timing of an updated iPhone SE release for months now, but the only feature change expected is a speed boost. Now a new rumor claims that the new iPhone SE could pick up support for wireless charging, which introduced in iPhone X and 8.

According to tekz24’s Sachin Bhatt that “a very reliable source” says the rumored iPhone SE 2 will be feature an all-glass back. That’s a change from the current iPhone SE which has glass panels along the top and bottom rear but is mostly aluminum.

Apple enables wireless charging part of the reason is because they switched to glass backs on the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. I would also imagine that by doing the same thing, the 4-inch handset could make a visual difference from its predecessor, giving users a new feature to enjoy.

If a iPhone has wireless charging, then if must be equipped with a glass back, unless Apple invented other solutions. Headphone jack will still remains, if the company is not doing a thorough redesign or needs space for new components like charging coils.

Tekz24 claims that iPhone SE 2 will be powered by the A10 quad-core chipset along with 2GB RAM. It’s expected to running iOS 11, and it will come with 32GB and 128GB internal storage options. The iPhone is also said to featured with 1700mAh battery, which is quite bigger than its previous model.

The iPhone SE, as Apple's budget friendly answer to customers who prefer the smaller form factor. Apple doubled the storage capacity a year later without changing other specs. The current iPhone SE retails for $349 for 32GB and $449 for 128GB. The new SE 2 could also priced around $300 - $400.
