Apple Renews "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" For The Upcoming Second Season

According to CBS, Apple just renewed "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" for a second season, the company's second original TV shows after "Planet of the Apps," "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" season 1 debuted last August. And the show hosts "The Late Late Show with James Corden," from which "Carpool Karaoke" was spun off.

CBS didn't provide any details other than renewing announcements, it's not clear what are the guests, a shooting schedule, or when the new season might premiere. But we do know that Apple's TV show pairs up different celebrities, musicians, athletes, and putting thems together in a car to sing popular songs.

For people who aren't familiar with the show, In season 1, featured guests are Will Smith, Metallica, and "Game of Thrones" stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith; John Legend, Alicia Keys along with Taraji P. Henson; and LeBron James & James Corden; and more.

Developed by Apple, the Cupertino company seek it as a way to promote its ongoing Apple Music service and to offer exclusive entertainment to Apple Music subscribers. Subscribers can watch on Apple Music every Tuesday,  they can also view past episodes as well.
