Apple Released iOS 11.3 Beta 2 With The Battery Health Feature, And Introducing "ClassKit" For Educational Apps

Apple today releases the second beta of the iOS 11.3 update to developers, 2 weeks after releasing the first beta of iOS 11.3. Beta testers required to sign up from Apple Developer Center to download the beta profile, in order to update your device to iOS 11.3, you need go to Settings - Software Update. 


In iOS 11.3, Four new Animoji characters will be added, giving iPhone X users the ability to express themselves as a lion, bear, dragon or skull. Business Chat will be launching in beta in iOS 11.3, a new way for field customer support sessions. You now also able to store your messages in your iCloud, which will free up spaces in the iDevices.

Apple is also updating ARKit to 1.5, which it will be recognize and place virtual objects on vertical surfaces like walls and doors, more accurately map irregularly shaped surfaces like circular tables as well. In addition, the view of the "real world" will now be in 1080p HD, is up from 720p currently.

As for new changes in iOS 11.3 beta 2, it introduces a new "Battery Health" feature that's designed to provide iOS users with more information about their batteries. This feature will tells you the maximum capacity of your battery and whether or not it is operating at peak capacity.


Another highlights found in the beta is that Apple is introducing a new public development framework, which they called ClassKit that towards educational apps. Apparently, to allow developers of educational apps to create student evaluation features.

Other new features include a new section in Apple News displays the top videos, support for Advanced Mobile Location for more accurate location when placing an emergency call in a supported country, more information about app size in the Updates page for the App Store, and iBooks has also had the "i" removed from its name.
