Kuo Shares New Details On The Upcoming 6.1-Inch LCD iPhone And Other Products

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a new investors report that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be debuted this year is expected to be a popular option for upgraders since it featured with iPhone X-style design and features.


Kuo predicts the lower-end iPhone will cost around $600-$700, which means you can buy a mini version of iPhone X with the price of iPhone 8. Because it’s cheaper, Apple is said to dropping several functions such as 3D Touch and uses Single-Len rear camera system.

It’s understandable that Kuo says the affordable iPhone will face mass production difficulties since it’s equipped with LCD panel instead of OLED display. However, Apple will order more LCD iPhone than OLED iPhones, and will on schedule to launch it in September.

When it comes to other products that are rumored to launch this year, the analyst still expects new iPad models with Face ID, a new low-priced MacBook Air, and new Apple Watch models featured with larger displays to be unveiled in the second half of 2018.
