Right after it released iOS 12.1, macOS 10.14.1, and tvOS 12.1 to the public, Apple just seeded its first beta of iOS 12.1.1, as they also released the first beta of macOS 10.14.2 and tvOS 11.2. To install these updates, you are required to get a proper developer profile, from there to install it via Software Update in the Settings app.

iOS 12.1.1 reintroduces the ability to take a Live Photo while on a FaceTime call, Apple also tweaked bottom bar that includes quick access buttons for muting a call and flipping the camera in the FaceTime app. Additionally, it fixes bugs and brings speed improvements.

Meanwhile, iOS 12's adoption continues climbing, in fact, Apple's App Store support page for developers shows that 63% of devices that introduced last four years are running iOS 12, whereas 60% of the all devices powered by the mobile operating system.

For iOS devices released in the past 4 years, the iOS 11 installation rate is 30%, and the earlier iOS versions' adoption rate remains 7%. Among all active iOS devices, the iOS 11 installation rate is at 29%, whereas 11% of the iOS devices running earlier versions such as iOS 10, iOS 9, etc. The rose of the iOS 12 adoption rate likely due to the launch of iPhone XR.

Apple's new MacBook Air comes in a Retina display, the eighth-generation Intel processor, the SSDs offers up to 1.5TB in capacity, 16GB of RAM, T2 Security, third-generation Butterfly keyboard, and so on. This MacBook Air also has the best in battery life in the Apple notebook family, it even beats the MacBook Pro and MacBook.

The all-new MacBook Air features a 50.3 watt-hour Lithium Polymer battery for up to 12 hours of wireless web browsing, up to 13 hours of iTunes video playback, and up to 30 days of standby time. In contrast, the MacBook Pro lasts up to 10 hours of wireless web browsing, up to 10 hours of iTunes video playback; MacBooks delivers up to 10 hours of wireless web browsing, up to 12 hours of iTunes video playback.

Speaking to the processors, the MacBook Air is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz. This processor is different from all of the eighth-generation chips currently announced by Intel. As of now, only one 1.3GHz dual-core processor is listed in the Intel ARK product database.

Based on that, AnandTech suggests (and Intel confirmed) that the new MacBook Air is powered by a chip that Intel has not announced, the 7W Y-series Amber Lake chip or aka Core i5-8210Y. The new MacBook Air now uses a low-power Y-series chip, which means that the performance of the laptop is quite powerful.

Apple today unveiled the new Mac mini, which features a deep-Space Gray color finish that looks so stunning in Brooklyn New York. Like the new MacBook Air, the Mac mini also rises its price point, it starts at $799 for the 8GB of RAM, a 3.6GHz Intel quad-core Core i3 processor, as well as a 128GB of storage. You can now place orders for the new Mac mini, with availability from next week, November 7 with in-store pick up.

The Mac mini supports Intel's 4 and 6-core eighth-generation CPUs, up to five times faster than previous Mac minis. It comes with 64GB of RAM. The SSD has a maximum of 2TB, which is 4 times faster than the previous Mac mini, it also include 4 USB-C ports, plus the T2 chip features an SSD controller with on-the-fly data encryption, offers more secure space.
"Mac mini is loved by customers for its ability to be used in incredibly diverse environments — from casual desktop use, to live professional performances, to multiple Mac mini computers powering through video renderings and compiling software code, to racks of thousands in giant app build farms — anywhere a small-but-mighty Mac is needed to get the job done," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
Cook said that the Mac mini is a Mac product that many users enjoys, and the new generation of Mac mini is the biggest update, a small but very powerful Mac computer product, not as simple as a "small computer." but rather more towards to pro level, you even stack mini together and build it into a data center for a company.

Apple announced a new generation of its low-cost MacBook Air to its lineup, comes in a new design and so many more features, every part of the new MacBook Air has been redesigned and reengineered. The price, however, slightly expensive than the previous generations, starting at $1,099 for 8GB of RAM, a 1.6GHz Core i5 processor, and 128GB SSD storage.

The MacBook Air featured with new Retina display that provides up to 4X of increases in resolution. The new laptop also supports Touch ID fingerprinting and is equipped with a T2 chip, the same as this year's new MacBook Pro and last year's iMac Pro. The new MacBook Air features a third-generation butterfly keyboard and a Force Touch trackpad.

Furthermore, there’s also an HD FaceTime camera, two USB-C ports and a headphone jack The new speakers are stereo speakers that are 25 percent louder and have more base. There’s a three-mic array to invoke Hey Siri. The battery lasts up to 12 hours of web browsing and 13 hours of movie playback. It uses an 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor with up to 16GB of RAM (upgradeable) and an 1.5TB of SSD storage.

Apple also talked about the MacPort Air's most proud thin and light design, the 2018 MacBook Air is still 100% aluminum design, simple, beautiful, with Space Gray, Gold, Silver three colors. Overall is more compact and portable, the volume is reduced by 17%, and the thickness is also reduced like 10% that is only 15.6mm and weighs 2.75 pounds.

The launch of the new smartphones always can't escape the fate of being dropped via drop tests, and according to the latest test results of SquareTrade, a well-known warranty provider, Apple's low-priced iPhone XR is as breakable as the high-end iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

Test results show that, like the OLED iPhone XS with a glass body, the iPhone XR's LCD display with aluminum frame glass back panel are severely damaged when dropped on a hard surface. In the "face-down" drop test, the iPhone XR's LCD display breaks after the first fall, as it was the case when iPhone XS screen cracks during the previous drop test.

However, The iPhone XR successfully passed the bending test and beat the 5.8-inch iPhone XS, which is comparable to the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max. The iPhone XR bent under 260 pounds of pressure, but it doesn't break. It still works like the iPhone XS Max, whereas the iPhone XS got damaged under 250 pounds of pressure.

The iPhone XR's LCD screen has similar durability to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max OLED screens. Jason Siciliano, global creative director of SquareTrade: "Our tests show that across the board - with both LCD and OLED screens - the all-glass designs of all three new iPhones are susceptible to cracking from drops, which is the most common cause of damage".

Last weekend, Steve Troughton-Smith, an app developer who like dig and leak new Apple products via iOS system, found out some tidbits of second generation of Apple Pencil. The first generation Apple Pencil was released in September 2015, and is currently compatible 1st-gen iPad Pro and above, iPad 2018, expect it will support the existing models as well.

According to Steve Troughton-Smith, the Apple Pencil 2 has a model number of B332 and has buttons on the side that can be used when the user clicks a button, double-clicks a button, or slides over buttons to change the brush size or pen. The button on Apple Pencil 2 can be thought of as a "right-click menu activator": you will be able to perform some gestures.

The way I figure, the new Pencil will have a button of some sort on the side that when you hold down you can perform gestures with the Pencil — tap, double tap, or swipe. A solid state button sounds very Apple-y. Devs could perhaps use for radial contextual menus

The company will hold a press event tomorrow to launch redesigned iPad Pros, second-generation Apple Pencil, as well as new Mac computers. The media event will kick off at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, which will be in 7:00 AM in Pacific Time, watch the time!

Update: According to the leaker Benjamin Geskin, the second-generation Apple Pencil will adopt a more minimalist design, remove the silver ring at the top, and will also support a new charging method, as well as magnetic that will be sticks to the iPad and the support of gestures thanks to the newly-added side button

Apple Watch Series 4, the newest one to join Apple's wearable device lineups, packed with andvanced hardwares such as larger display, new Digital Crown, powerful S4 processors, and an ECG sensor that allows you to take Electrocardiogram on your wrist, now the problem, in many countries, you won't be able to use the feature, as it requires regulatory approvals, which will take some time, so is there's a way to use it beforehand?

However, we do know that the ECG received FDA clearance, meaning the feature will first come out in the United States, other than the US, it could take months even years that authorities approval it. A report by 9to5Mac says that the limitation just on the software part rather than hardware-the feature can be activated once region changes.

If you set the region to the US on your Apple Watch Series 4, you will be able to get access to the feature, similar to how other features such as Apple News can be enabled on countries that still hasn't roll out, or like the way you change the region of Apple IDs that allows you to download apps a certain country doesn't have.

In case you are wondering how to change the region: Settings - General - Language & Region - Region then choose “United States”. The only drawback is that you may changing the date and time format and other units back the country you are in. Enjoy it!

As early as the fifth beta of iOS 12, there was an icon in the operating system that was speculated as an indication of the full-screen iPad Pro image. The iPad icon shows it has no Home button and the notch, but the icon at the time was small and it was not clear, so today 9to5Mac's Guilherme Rambo leaked an icon that's bigger and purer looking.

You can clearly see the iPad Pro design that's without the Notch and the Home button. However, it is somewhat disappointing that the bezels of the full-screen iPad Pro seem to be somewhat wider than the iPhone XS and XS Max, though it's likely for the use of hiding notch. The sleep/wake is still on the top but rather on the side, unlike the new iPhone models.

Other things we can expect on the new tablet are a USB-C port instead of Lightning port to charge and transfer data, an LCD screen, Face D support with the new TrueDepth camera, A12X bionic chip, a new custom Apple graphics chip - the first time in iPad history, and finally a new updated Apple Pencil that could be paired like the way to pair AirPods.

We are just a few days apart from Apple take the stage in Brooklyn, New York, to unveil new Mac and iPads. The theme of the event is "making," and it will take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, to marks the future outcome of Apple's tablets and computers.

Apple will hold a media event on October 30 to launch a new generation of iPad Pro, the new MacBook, and other products. Now, according to an Indian carrier that iOS 12.1 will also be released on the 30th, this upcoming Tuesday, most likely after the event. The update will introduce support for eSIM, Group FaceTime, and 70+ new emoji characters.

iOS 12.1 will bring eSIM support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, enable Dual-SIM dual standby via eSIM (except for the Chinese iPhones). With this feature on, you can have two phone number at the same time; able to add another line to their existing iPhone, giving the device two phone numbers for phone calls and texting.

It includes as many as 70+ Unicode 11 emojis including red hair, gray hair, curly hair, and no hair, as well as cold face, party face, pleading face, face with hearts, Nazar amulet, an infinity symbol, along with new animals such as kangaroo, peacock, parrot, lobster, and food items include mango, lettuce, cupcake, and mooncake.

The update also re-added Group FaceTime since it removed it previously in iOS 12.0, the feature will allow to Facetime Video call up to 32 people at once, but some older devices such as iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, iPad mini 2 and 3 will not be supported. Users of iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR can adjust the Depth Field real-time after you installed iOS 12.1. We also expect skin smoothing bug will be addressed under this major update.

The new iPad Pro is the most significant update since the lineup was introduced in 2015, it will get the full-screen design, slim-bezels, no Home button and no fingerprint reader, a USB-C port to charge and transfer data, to adopt an LCD screen rather than OLED, Face D support with new TrueDepth camera, A12X bionic chip, a custom Apple graphics chip - first time in iPad history, and finally a new updated Apple Pencil.

Apple's cheapest and newest smartphone, iPhone XR, officially launched today, whilst users are hands-on this device, iFixit also picked up one, and as always, they did a traditional teardown that designed to find out what's inside the $749 handsets and specs info.

iFixt says though the inside is little different from the high-end iPhone XS, the specs look quite familiar. The difference is that the SIM tray in the iPhone XR is modular and lower, the internals of the Xr looks like a cross between an iPhone 8 and an iPhone X, meaning it backs to a rectangular battery and a logic board design.

Spec wise, it pretty much identical to the iPhone XS series, with an A12 Bionic chip, an Apple/USI 339S00580 WiFi/Bluetooth module, an NXP 100VB27 NFC controller, same 7MP TrueDepth front-facing camera system with Face ID molecules, same single-lens 12MP camera but packed with 3GB of RAM rather than 4GB of RAM in the iPhone XS, low resolution Liquid Retina LCD display with 326 PPi, and a 2942mAh battery capacity.

Updates:, the teardown has completed, so iFixit calls iPhone XR as the Lost Of iPhone 9, meaning it's mix of between last year's iPhone 8 and iPhone X, they further confirm that the device has a same wide-angle camera as on the XS. At last, the site highlights that even though XR battery weighs lighter than the XS, still very respectable for a low pixel screen.

The PowerMac G5, the original Mac Pro, is one of the most beautiful machines made in Apple's history. Though the Mac Pro still in use is no where to see, British designers have new ideas, they connected the two Mac Pro with black walnuts and made into a stylish bench, even better, designers has decided to produce benches on demand.
Each bench is made to order, the lead time is currently 6 weeks. This is to ensure we can source G5 cases in the best possible condition. Please note, the G5 Mac Pro 1st Generation was last produced in 2012, we endeavour to find immaculate models, however there may be small signs of wear present.
It's worth to note that the it requires 6 weeks of work to make it that includes two PowerMac chassis or older Mac Pro as they promises to find the cleanest enclosures possible. The stylish bench weighs more than 58 kg, that's almost 128 pounds for a bench.

Of course, for a bench like that, it will be pretty expensive to purchase one, the bench will be sold for a whopping £1,995, or approximately 2,555 in US dollars, and that doesn't include the shipping and import taxes. Could you spend a big amount for just a bench?

Apple has officially launched iPhone XR, which means you can purchase the smartphone in your local Apple stores, and if you preordered the iPhone like last Friday, you should receive it today. However, users living in Australia, New Zealand, countries in Asia, and Europe already got their hands-on of the device, with North America very soon to get it.

As always, Apple CEO Tim Cook oftenly visits Apple stores for iPhone launch day, with this time in the company's Piazza Liberty store in Milan, taking pictures with customers and employees for iPhone XR release. Nevertheless, many locations hardly see any customers lined up for the devices, as more consumers prefer online pre-orders,

The iPhone XR come in black, white, blue, yellow, coral and red colors and offer 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB tiers. It includes A12 bionics processor with a new generation of neural network engines. The chip itself, provide up to 40% in performance improvements and 70% graphic improvements, but only packed with 3GB of RAM.

The iPhone XR uses a bigger battery than iPhone XS Max, so it should offer a battery life of up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 8 Plus, Alongside the IP67 water resistance, Haptic Touch instead of 3D Touch, Gigabit LTE Advanced. and the TrueDepth front-facing camera for Face ID and Animoji, and Memoji as well.

The rear panel uses Glass Back to enable wireless charging feature, and is equipped with a 12MP sing-lens camera with upgraded sensors, and supports same iPhone XS features such as Smart HDR, Depth Control, etc. After all, the iPhone XR is quite similar to the XS series.

Apple will hold a press event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City next Tuesday and launch new iPad Pro and Mac products. Now, Apple has begun to decorate the Howard Gilman Opera House at the Music Academy to prepare for the keynote.

Japanese website MacOtakara shared a YouTube video, which we can see that the decoration is in progress. On the arched windows on one side of the building, the Apple logos are painted with colored decals and the abstract patterns look a bit like stained glass. In the next few days, Apple might add more decorations, such as the banner and logos of Apple.

At this event, the protagonist is naturally the full-screen iPad Pro. Most rumors and leaks state that it has no Home button, featured with the notch-full-screen design, replace the Lightning port by USB-C port, support for the Face ID and Animoji thanks to the TrueDepth front-facing camera, a powerful A12X processor, and a new generation of Apple Pencil.

On the Mac side, we may see the new 13-inch low-cost MacBooks, new iMacs, and Mac mini. Though Kuo, the reliable Apple analyst, who said Apple may debut new iPad mini, AirPower wireless charging mat, and updated AirPods, he also says it could come out next year.

The macOS Mojave brings a long-awaited Dark Mode to Mac users, and Apple has been encouraging third-party app developers to actively adopting the feature. However, most websites does not currently recognize whether the user terminal has switched to Dark Mode. Nonetheless, the situation will soon be changed.

Apple's latest Safari Technology Preview 68 update that's not for regular users, but rather preview new technologies brings support for "prefer-color-scheme" CSS media queries. This way, when the user switches to dark mode under the Mojave system, the updated websites can automatically use their dark theme to correspond it.

It's good news that it makes web pages look less dazzling in dark mode, but the question now is when this feature will really become popular, after all, there are more websites than third-party apps, still it's better than nothing. Under the impetus of Apple, there will always be websites to follow up and will be adding the feature soon.

Although it's designed for developers to test new features, it doesn't require a developer account, both macOS High Sierra and macOS Mojave can download it through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store to whom has downloaded the browser.

GrayKey, a tool that allows law enforcement agencies to unlock or crack iPhones, now is unable to get the passcodes or unlock any iPhone or iPad running iOS 12 or later, meaning police or FBI can't obtain any encrypted files and metadata anymore, according to Forbes.

Grayshift's GrayKey iPhone unlocking tools that have been sold to multiple law enforcement agencies across the United States. Essentially, the box connects to an iPhone and then installs the software that's designed to crack the passcode of the device. It could take 6 minutes to crack a device that uses 4-digit passcode, and will take longer as the passcode gets longer.

Now, though, Apple has put up what may be an insurmountable wall. Multiple sources familiar with the GrayKey tech tell Forbes the device can no longer break the passcodes of any iPhone running iOS 12 or above. On those devices, GrayKey can only do what’s called a “partial extraction,” sources from the forensic community said. That means police using the tool can only draw out unencrypted files and some metadata, such as file sizes and folder structures.

The way of GrayKey no longer works on iOS devices likely because of the implementation of USB Restricted Mode that prevent other USB tools from accessing an iPhone or iPad if it's been more than an hour since the device was last unlocked, the USB access will cut off.

Samsung has filed a lawsuit against its Russian brand ambassador for allegedly being caught in public using an iPhone X instead of Samsung smartphones, which she was not allowed to be seen using competing products in the public, a rule that set by the agreements, according to a report by The Mirror.

Ksenia Sobchak, Samsung’s Russia ambassador, who promoting their smartphones in the country, accuse of used an iPhone X during a television interview, even though she tried to hide it, shortly after the audience noticed, it has widespread discussion on social media. This resulting Samsung suing Sobchak $1.6 million for broken the rules.

Ms Sobchak has reportedly been seen on television, and at some of the hottest social events in the capital city of Moscow, using her iPhone. Her representatives have yet to comment on the story.

At present, both Samsung and Sobchak haven’t comment on the matter. It’s also unclear how much did the South Korean company paid to the granddaughter of Russia President Putin, but AppleInsider believes that Samsung is seeking more money than she was paid to endorse the brand.

According to the French website Consomac, Apple has registered a number of tablets and Mac models at EEC, which means that at the 30th press event, we are likely to see the new Macs and the new iPads without any questions whatsoever.

The new registered Mac models include: A1347, A1418, A1419, A1481, A1862, A1993, A2115, A2116, A1466, A1534, A1708, A1932, A1989, A1990. Apple's greatest portable music player, iPod, has now turned 17 years old, it was introduced by the former CEO and co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, who called the palm-sized device as a quantum leap forward in technology; which also got them away from the bankruptcy.

There is no doubt that Apple has revolutionized MP3 technology. Way before the iPod was introduced, the MP3 player was either very bulky, or as plain as a book, or lacking internal storage to save songs, but the iPod has completely overcome these obstacles. Jobs said that the coolest part of the iPod is to put the entire music library in your pocket.

Apple also launched other iPod devices such as the iPod Photo in 2004 with the first color display; tinner iPod mini; the smaller and more portable iPod nano, introduced in 2005; the super small iPod shuffle in 2005; the "fatty" third-generation iPod nano introduced in 2007; and the iPod touch, first released in 2007.

We all know that until now, Apple is only producing iPod touch, the last one from the iPod family, it will eventually be completely out of our lives without any notice. In fact, back in the day, like iPod's "golden age", its sales have been overwhelming the iPhones. It's unclear if Apple plans to release the iPod Touch 7 in the future, although it's unlikely.

The press release for first iPod still existed on Apple.com

In China, however, is better than the US, with the iPhone XR shipping time is displayed from October 31st to November 7th. The iPhone XR opened pre-order on Friday and the supply is sufficient for a while. Not just China, the UK, Japan, Germany, and many more countries are also no longer available for launch day delivery, which is in this Friday.

While that might be a good sign of being extremely popular, other medias' reviews on the smartphone were also pretty positive, some says it's the best LCD display to date, some says the camera is decent compares to iPhone XS's dual-lens setup, battery life is amazing as well.

The iPhone XR come in black, white, blue, yellow, coral and red colors and offer 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB tiers. You can get the budget iPhone for just $749, though in many ways are similar to the XS, it's definitely worth to buy!

Both the front camera and rear wide-angle lens of the iPhone XR and iPhone XS series are basically the same, which means that the iPhone XR will also have the beautygate issues. However, a report by The Verge, Apple is adjusting the algorithm for Smart HDR in iOS 12.1 to solve the problem while retaining more details.

Last month, shortly after the iPhone XS was released, many users found that the portrait photos taken by the iPhone XS front camera were automatically skin smoothing. Though Apple has not announced the details of how to solve the problem of automatic beauty, the problem appears to be caused by the Smart HDR feature, first introduced last month.

The Verge says that the Smart HDR chose the wrong base frame when processing during self-timer. It sometimes chooses frames with longer shutter speeds instead of selecting frames with shorter shutter speeds to freeze motion and preserve detail. Since the front camera also does not have an optical image stabilization function, so taking pictures at the same shutter speed as the rear camera will result in loss of detail that looks like smoothing on the front camera.

We expect Apple to release iOS 12.1 early of November, if not next week. At the same time, they also stopped signing iOS 12, meaning you can't downgrade to iOS 12 by all means. As for why Apple has doing this for so long, it's a solution that prevent users from jailbreaking.

Apple just seeded its fifth beta of iOS 12.1, a week after it seeds iOS 12.1 beta 4, as they also seeds the fifth beta of watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 11.1. To install these updates, you required to get a proper profile, from there to install it via Software Update in the Settings app.

iOS 12.1 enables the Dual-SIM capabilities for iPhone XS series and iPhone XR. It introduces as many as 70+ Unicode 11 emojis including red hair, gray hair, curly hair, and no hair, as well as cold face, party face, pleading face, face with hearts, Nazar amulet, an infinity symbol, along with new animals such as kangaroo, peacock, parrot, lobster, and food items include mango, lettuce, cupcake, and mooncake.

The forthcoming update also re-added Group Facetime since it removed it previously in iOS 12.0, the feature will allow to Facetime Video call up to 32 people at once. iOS 12.1 will also introduce support of ECG app that specially made for Apple Watch Series 4 models. You can adjust the Depth Field real-time after you installed iOS 12.1 The update should address issues that previously not fixed on iOS 12.0.1.

Otherwise, watchOS 5.1 adds ECG app, no major new features or changes introduced for both tvOS 12.1 and watchOS 5.1 whatsoever. Nevertheless, we expect these updates to be released next week, since Apple is confirmed to host an event on October 30th to announce new iPads and Macs.

As expected, as the iPhone XR opened Pre-order window last Friday, news about the new smartphone has appeared throughout many media outlets. We have summed up a couple major news including Kuo's prediction of iPhone XR demand higher than iPhone 8, Apple's SVP Phil Schiller talks about the PPi of iPhone XR's display:

Firstly, well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says in a newly published report that iPhone XR's demand was better than iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus during the same period last year. Though Apple.com shows that shipping estimates remain launch day delivery, the type of customers interested in the phone tends to be general users, who order through carriers.

Furthermore, some people may still be questioning the display quality of the$ 749 handsets, however, Apple's marketing boss Phil Schiller spoken to Engadget that if users can' tell the pixels, then the number doesn't mean anything. "If you can't see the pixels, at some point the numbers don't mean anything. They're fairly arbitrary," says Phil Schiller.

Schiller also discussed that what the "R", in which he didn't directly reveal it, but rather it means that is used denote something it's "really extra special". The marketing chief too believes the iPhone XR is the best and is a great value device and affordable for many people.

Apple will hold a press event next week to launch a new generation of iPad Pro. The current news is that the new iPad Pro will use a narrow border full-screen design, similar to the iPhone XS series, but there is no notch. New renders by industrial designer Victor Kádár offers an idea of what the tablet will look like when it's released.

Much of the design details showed by the renders shared similarities of what we have heard from various rumors and leaks: no Home button, no Notch, but will support the Face ID, USB-C port instead of the Lightning port, as well as Smart Connector relocation, no headphone jack for the first time on an iPad.

Though we reported this weekend that Apple may only redesign the 1.9-inch iPad Pro, we still take a grant of salt on that rumors. Othersie, we expect new Apple Pencil could pair like the way you pair the AirPods, as well as an A12X chip, a new magnetic connector, the ability to allowing the iPad Pro to be an external display, and wireless charging.

I am ready to get that bad boy, are you?

It has been 48 hours since the iPhone XR allows to pre-order. In general, the current iPhone XR supply is stable in several major markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. In some markets like China, however, all of the models delayed its delivery times, but usually only limited to 1-2 weeks till it will ship to customers.

In the US, T-Mobile's Red, Yellow, Coral, and Blue iPhone XR, delayed ship time to the early of the November. Asides from T-Mobile, all other US major carrier will be able to ship iPhone XR models on time, which will be on October 26th.

The UK, on the other hand, the Yellow, Coral and Red 64GB models increased its delivery date to 1-2 weeks. In Japan, the Blue 64GB, Yellow 64GB, Coral 64GB, and Red 64GB, 256GB shipping date extended to 1 ~ 2 weeks, other models remain October 26th.

For those iPhone XR buyers in Hong Kong, the delivery date for all models and models are on October 27th to 31st. Meanwhile, in Mainland China, all iPhone XR models will not be available for delivery on October 26, but rather the date pushes to October 30th to November 6th, overall, status isn't solid for Chinese customers.

iMessage, one of the reason that most users don't switch to Android, in recent years got even better. However, if you joined a group conversation or just simply texting friends and family, your iPhone will keep buzz until you respond to them. Luckily, there is a way that mute a certain group chat and people who keep texting you, here is how to do it!
  1. Choose conversation that you want to mute, don't click on it
  2. Swipe from right to left on the conversation will have two options: Hide Alerts Delete
  3. Then tap on the Hide Alerts to mute the conversation
  4. Once you tapped on it, a Do Not Disturb icon will appear near the person’s name
  5. And that's it
With this enabled, your iPhone won’t ring, vibrate or light up when you receive a message from the conversation. Yet, these messages will still be visible on your Lock screen, but unlike before, where your device will light up to notify you a message has received. Surely, this trick will help from being disturb, and a great way to stay away from your devices.

It's confirmed that Apple host an event on October 30th in New York City, rumors and leaks implies the company will announce new iPad Pros and Macs. The iPad Pro, however, is said to be redesigned with some iPhone XS design elements, such as no Home button, slim bezels, TrueDepth camera for Face ID and Animoji. Now, couple Weibo posts said that Apple will only be going to redesign 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

A Weibo post claims that upcoming iPad Pro will have two sizes. Among them, the larger size is 211 × 276 (mm), and the smaller size is 174.7 × 243.5 (mm). For the sake of comparison, current 10.5-inch iPad Pro model measures at 174.1×250.6 (mm), whereas the current 12.9-inch version has a dimension of 220.6×305.7.

Based on above two sizes, another Weibo post said that the small size version is closer to the current 10.5-inch iPad Pro size so it may be that the iPad Pro maintains the original design and upgrades the hardware. Meanwhile, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is a lot smaller, which means it could use the full-screen design since it's full-screen, why not make the size smaller to keep the price down.

In addition to size and design change, the new iPad Pro models could switch from Lightning ports to USB-C that would allow the device to be an external display. New Apple Pencil could pair like the way you pair the AirPods. All of the other features that are expected to be included are an A12X chip, a new magnetic connector, and wireless charging.

In addition to have opened pre-order window for iPhone XR buyers, Apple also launched a new accessory for Apple Watch users, a 0.3-meter Apple Watch USB-C Magnetic Charger, which means that just by placing the charger close to the back of the case, the magnets in it will automatically snap the connector into place.

This cable is only 0.3 meters and Apple does not offer a longer 1 meter or 2-meter lengths. It's not clear why Apple is launching such a short cable at this moment, there is still a chance that longer cable style may be introduced in the future. The USB-C charger will replace the USB-A version that was available for quite a while.

The accessory will ship out in one business day and will be available in Apple retail stores starting next week. You can purchase it at the price of $29 in the US. Even though this year's iPhones still not switch to the USB-C port, the introduction of USB-C Magnetic Charger will be a strong evidence that the new iPads to have USB-C port instead of Lightning port.

Apple Design Chief Jony Ive was interviewed by the Financial Times today, during which he discussed a range of topics, including Apple Watch, Apple Park and Apple Car. When asked if the Apple design team was the last employee to move into the new Apple Park, Ive said that it took a lot of time for 9000 people to move in.

At the same time, Ive holds the belief the original Apple headquarters has full of memories, over the decades of history, the prototype of the iPhone & iPod was created at the old HQ. Once the design team moves to Apple Park, they can communicate better with other experts.

When it comes to the Apple Car, Ive's mouth is very strict. In general, Ive said it is important to study the issues and challenges associated with any new product, rather than talking directly, which endangers the risk of ideas and technology being copied by competitors.

When asked if Apple Watch should be defined as a watch. Ive said: "No, I think that this is a very powerful computer, with a range of very sophisticated sensors, that is strapped to my wrist. That's neither very descriptive nor very helpful." The designer-in-chief also stated that Apple knows the consequences in both positive and negative, and will take the responsibility.

The iPhone XR can also provide the battery life required for a day, uses a bigger battery than iPhone XS Max, so it should offer a battery life of up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 8 Plus. Moreover, it includes IP67 water resistance, Haptic Touch instead of 3D Touch, Gigabit LTE Advanced. and the TrueDepth front-facing camera for Face ID and Animoji.

Design wise, it is quite similar to the XS series, but with the aluminum metal frame design alongside a stunning 6.1-inch most advanced Liquid Retina Display. The rear panel uses Glass Back to enable wireless charging feature, and is equipped with a 12MP sing-lens camera with upgraded sensors, and supports same iPhone XS features such as Smart HDR, Depth Control, etc.

As of now, it seems like some colors started selling out and became unavailable for launch day delivery in the United States. For instance, T-Mobile apparently started to sell out Yellow iPhone XR models. Nevertheless, all other models still remain in stock.

According to market analyst firm CIRP, early sales of the iPhone XS series were pretty strong, both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max can be said to be equally divided. Specifically, CIRP found that the 10-day sales of the new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max accounted for 8% of iPhone sales in September in the United States.

The iPhone XS family has a combined market share of 16%, which means that iPhone XS sales will surpass the entire quarterly sales of all iPhone models last year. In contrast, last year, iPhone X accounted for 14% of total iPhone sales during the launch season, while iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were more popular, accounting for 16% and 17% of total sales, respectively.

The iPhone launch quarter is always tricky to understand, and this one is trickier than others” said Josh Lowitz, CIRP Partner and Co-Founder. “This year, Apple launched iPhone XS and XS Max, the two most-expensive models, at the end of the quarter. Last year, Apple launched the more-expensive iPhone X in the following quarter. So, during the quarter ending September 29, 2018, Apple had an unprecedented ten models to track."

However, CIRP said that the new iPhone will push Apple's average selling price in the US market to an unprecedented level. They actually used a slightly different measure, in the September 2018 season, CIRP estimated the price of the iPhone XS was $796, that is up from the $751 in the June 2018 season and higher than the $705 in the September 2017 season.

Apple has just sent out media invites for a second major 2018 event set to be held in New York City on Tuesday, October 30 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Howard Gilman Opera House, and will kick off at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, titled as "There's more in the making."

This year’s iPad Pro is also rumored to switch over from Lighting to USB-C for the use of the external display. Furthermore, it will not include a notch and a Home button.

As for Macs, we expect a new Mac mini and a budget MacBook model that cost under $1,000, the model may use a Retina display, processor upgrades, more RAMs, better battery life, etc. Meanwhile, Mac mini will be more towards pro users so Apple may adjust the price to be above $500, the company last time updated the lineup is over 1,400 days ago.

Apple will live stream the New York event on its Events app on the Apple TV and the website through the Events page. Since it will be held in New York, the timezone is different than the standard events at WWDC or Apple Park: the Event will start at 10 AM EDT, which means in PDT timezone, it will kick off at 7:00 AM, watch the time!

The 45W Powerstation USB-C 3XL Charger can also give some battery life for the more power-hungry MacBook Pro models, though the battery life and charging speed will be relatively poor.

In addition, this power bank can also offer fast charging for iPhone 8 and later iPhone through USB-C to lightning cable, it also comes with a USB-A to lightning cable to charge other iOS devices. Back in the day, when phablet first introduced, it was a joke because of its large screen, now look around the world's top smartphone manufacturers, including Apple, are competing with large-display phones to attract users. The iPhone XS Max already feels so huge as it equipped with a 6.5-inch screen, however, rumors suggest Samsung would launch the biggest "Note" series in the history next year.

According to a report from The Bell, Samsung Electronics has informed Samsung Display earlier this month that it has decided to use a 6.66-inch screen for the Galaxy Note 10. The South Korean firm has started a project called "Da Vinci" last month, and hopes it will be it will be completed in time for the unveiling of the Note 10 in August of 2019.

In contrast, Note 9 is measured at 6.4 inches, while the Galaxy S9+ is 6.2 inches, yet, the S10+ screen, which is said to be released in February next year, will be 6.44 inches, just a hair tinier than iPhone XS Max's 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display, whereas the smallest iPhone you can buy has a 4.7-inch panel, that is, iPhone 7.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, he predicts that Apple will continue to use this year's screen sizes on next year's iPhone models, meaning they will not increase the screen size. In this way, Samsung appears will lead again smartphone screen size competition in the years to come.

The UAG case that was suspected of being designed for the iPad Pro shows that the upcoming tablet will not include a notch and no Home button. Aside from that, the 2018 iPad Pros looks like the large version of iPhone XS, although it has bit more bezels than the smartphone.
