Apple's supply chain begins mass production of the new iPad and AirPods

According to internal sources from Apple's Asian supply chain, at least two component manufacturers are accelerating production of Apple's next-generation iPad and AirPods products, which are expected to be released in the coming weeks, reports Taiwanese media company DigiTimes.

We expect Apple's next-gen entry-level iPad to be based on the 2018 model. Currently, there are two versions of the iPad that Apple could release. One is a 9.7-inch model that only updates the processor, but retains Touch ID fingerprint recognition and headphone jack. The other one is to extend the screen to 10.2 inches, upgrade the internal parts while continuing the same design.

As for For AirPods 2, rumors suggest that Apple will launch it in black and white colors while maintaining the price at $199, it will include a new coating to enhance the grip, as well as introducing support "Hey Siri" The headphone will also adopt the latest Bluetooth 5.0 standard to improve the sound quality and offer AirPods wireless charging box case support for Qi wireless charging in the box.

Having said that, it is still not possible to determine the specific release time of the new iPad and the second generation of AirPods. However, it's very likely that the new iPad will be unveiled at the special event on the morning of March 25, though AirPods 2 may have to wait for a while.
