macOS 10.15: Comes With The Ability To Turn iPad Into Mac's Second Display

The next macOS version, also known as macOS 10.15, will be announced at Apple WWDC Keynote in June, with features like the ability to run iPad apps on the Mac and will introduce standalone Music, Podcasts apps. In addition, the update is also expected to add a new feature that allows the iPad to be used as Mac's secondary display, such uses are already available to users via third-party apps like Duet Display, according to 9to5mac:

Now, Apple is working on making that seamless experience native to the Mac. According to people familiar with the development of macOS 10.15 – the next major version of Apple’s desktop OS – the new system will have a feature that allows users to send any window of any app to an external display. The external display can be an actual external display connected to the Mac or even an iPad.
The new feature code is Sidecar, which supports all external display, including the iPad. With this feature enabled, you can directly send the Mac screen content to the second screen without any third-party apps or accessories. It will even let you drag the regular macOS windows on the iPad, and it supports Apple Pencil for writing and drawing - directly turning the iPad into a Wacom tablet for Mac.

It is said that Sidecar is much simpler to use than third-party apps. It is built into the simple macOS menu. Users can hover over the green "maximize" button in any Finder or application window, in the menu, it includes several options: full screen, tiling and moving to external displays.
