Well, it turns out to be Apple is quietly selling a new $700 23.7-inch LG UltraFine display in their retail stores. However, there is no listing on Apple's online store currently, according to TidBIT:
The display's resolution, on the other hand, believed to be 3360x1890, as opposed to the 4096x2304 resolution of the smaller 21.5-inch UltraFine 4K offers, so technically, it should be considered as Ultra HD display rather than 4K, though the display is said to be brighter than other LG displays.

To my surprise, an employee told me I should consider forgoing the 21.5-inch model. Why? “Because we have a larger LG display for the same price.” Laid out for me on the floor were boxes for the two monitors—including the 23.7-inch version that had seemingly come from nowhere.The newly released display measures 23.7 inches, which make it sets between the 4K 21.5" and 5K 27" displays, nevertheless, no visual design changes apart from the size, but they did add one extra Thunderbolt 3 Ports behind the display. As usual, you can use the display for your Mac and 2019 iPad Pro devices.
