Cellebrite Releases New Software Designed To Crack iPhones and iPads Running iOS 7 To iOS 12.3

Israeli Cellebrite software company is renowned for cracking and obtaining information on mobile devices like the iPhone. The company has recently announced the likelihood of unlocking any iOS device running iOS 12.3 with its latest software, noting that iOS 12.3 has just been released a month ago.

Cellebrite's latest software is called UFED Premium, which can crack any iPhones running iOS 7 to iOS 12.3, as well as Samsung, Huawei, LG, and Xiaomi smartphones. UFED Premium is currently also the only software that unlocks and captures mobile phone data.

If it is simple to use UFED Premium, the Cellebrite techniques will certainly get the wants of the law enforcement agencies. Apple continues to escalate the security of the operating system in reaction to the cracking of firms like Cellebrite. For instance, Apple taken down the GrayKey iPhone password cracking tool effectively in October 2018. Graykey was used to crack the iPhone by the Justice department in the United States.

In 2016, when it was reported that Cellebrite efficiently helped the FBI crack the iPhone 5c of San Bernardino's shooting assassin Syed Farook, Cellebrite became a very intriguing startup when Apple refused to provide the FBI with tools to crack the iPhone.
