Apple Releases iOS 12.4.1 With Jailbreak Fix, tvOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1, And New macOS 10.14.6 Supplemental Updates

Apple today released iOS 12.4.1, an update that's likely to include the fix for a vulnerability that is already patched in iOS 12.3, but unpatched in iOS 12.4, which led to the creation of iOS 12.4 jailbreak. Meanwhile, the company also rolled out the new tvOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1, as well as macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Updates.

We recommend users who would like to jailbreak their device to stay on iOS 12.4, as Apple will stop signing that version soon in the future. Otherwise, if you care about the security aspect of it, in this case, apps in the App Store is capable of executing arbitrary code with system privileges, then you should definitely be updating your device to the latest iOS 12.4.1 build.
Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation

Impact: A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with system privileges

Description: A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management.

As for the new tvOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1, and macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Updates, they are minor in scale and focus on bug fixes and speed improvements.

We believe that iOS 12.4.1, tvOS 12.4.1, watchOS 5.3.1, and macOS Mojave 10.14.6 are probably the last updates before Apple releases iOS 13, tvOS 12.3, watchOS 6, and macOS Catalina 10.15.
