Apple Released tvOS 13 To Apple TV HD And Apple TV 4K Users

Apple released tvOS 13 to the Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K users today. Users can download and install the update via the Settings app, then System -> Software Update. However, for those who enabled automatic software updates on their Apple TV should turn it on and let it update automatically.


The tvOS 13 update brings an updated Home screen designed to make it easier to discover new content. Also, it now supports Multi-User mode for the first time, which means that users can setup multiple profiles on Apple TV, so each family member can have their own custom Apple TV interface, as well as personal recommendations, Music Playlists, and Watch Now. Thanks to the new Control Center, switch between profiles couldn't be easier, while it also provides AirPlay controls and sleep options.

Apple Arcade, a new games subscription service that's designed to deliver an intuitive gameplay experience with games that were initially developed by its developers is now available on Apple TV devices, transforming the Media Player into a real game console device. Arcade offers hundreds of games without in-app purchases and ads, users will only need to pay $4.99 to enjoy the service.

There is also a new Picture-in-Picture mode that you can mess around with, as the name implies, an small screen will appear on your TV that will show the content you are playing while using an app. Available on iOS 13 and macOS Catalina, Signing with Apple, a simple way to signing into apps and websites in a secure way is also included in tvOS 13. Plus, Apple added new screensavers highlights the under-the-sea world.

Alongside tvOS 13, Apple has also released an Apple TV Software 7.4 update for the third-generation Apple TV.
