PSA: You Can Engrave An Emoji On Your AirPods At No Additional Charge

AirPods, Apple's ultra-popular wireless earbuds, has a new option that allows customers who purchase ‌AirPods‌ to choose to engrave emoji characters on their devices.

Customers will now be to customize AirPods in the Apple Online Store through the “Customize it for free” option that appears when you select the earphones. Prior to this, only texts were allowed to be engraved. "New engraving options are now available — from A to emoji," asserts the company on its official AirPods page.

In addition to emojis, you can also engrave a name, initials, phone number, or date.

Serveal emoji options are now available currently, from smiling face, face with tongue out, and thumbs up to ghost, unicorn, bear, skull, dragon, poop, snake, and more. The thing is though those buyers can't engrave two emojis on an AirPods case. But it at least has no additional charge.

The option applies to any AirPods models, including 1st and 2nd-generation AirPods and AirPods Pro.
