The item tracker would also benefit from deeper integration with iOS, such as having a dedicated tab in the "Find My" app, enables you to keep track of items that tend to get misplaced or stolen, for example, keys and wallet. Like a lost iOS device, AirTags will show up on a map and will have an address listed where they can be tracked to.

In the video, Apple mention AirTags will include a offline mode, as it says: "offline finding enables this device and AirTags to be found when not connected to Wi-Fi or cellular."
Apart from that, MacRumors claims that the tag will feature a removable CR2032 coin cell battery, also similar to Tile, which tend to last between 1-2 years.
Reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a recent research note that Apple will accelerate the production of the ultra-wide AirTags band in the second or third quarter of this year.
