FOLDUP Is A Wireless Power Bank That's Even Smaller Than Credit Cards

Most wireless chargers (and power banks) on the market are quite massive and bulky, they are not ideal for you to bring on a trip. However, a Hong Kong-based startup has developed a sleek gadget that aims to allow it to be carried on board without any hassles.

Called FOLDUP, this is a new multifunctional pocket battery pack that folds into a compact form factor of the same size as your credit card. It is 16% smaller than a credit card and at least 30% smaller than other wireless power banks, which means it can comfortably fit into a shirt, pants pocket, or even the palm of your hand.

To charge your devices, just fold it up and stick it to the back of your device, and it will immediately start charging your device wirelessly thanks to its highly sensitive wireless charging pad. The pocket battery pack offers a capacity of 5000 mAh that is enough to fully charge an iPhone 11 Pro Max (3969 mAh).

You can, however, charge two devices simultaneously with FOLDUP. Using a USB-A cable to charge your second device does not impact the charging speed of the wireless charging pad.

Aside from functioning as a wireless power bank, FOLDUP also utilizes a 180° foldup structure to turn it into a phone stand, allow for a live cam hands-free experience while charging your devices, otherwise, FOLDUP can be easily secured to your phone for days at a time. It will stay firmly stuck on.

FOLDUP also comes with a pair of TWS Bluetooth 5.0 Earbuds. The tiny earbuds deliver wireless stereo sound and are built with Noda chip technology to enhance the quality and experience of your music. Even better, they will always be charged because the FOLDUP serves as their charging case.

Compatibility wise, FOLDUP supports iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, SE 2020, XS, XS Max, XR, X, 8 Plus, and iPhone 8. While it is also compatible with Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, S9, S9+, S8, S8+.

The petite yet mighty wireless power bank is available at Kickstarter now for $45, ships to worldwide, and delivery starting in June.
