Apple Releases First Beta Of iOS 13.5.5 And macOS 10.15.6

Apple has released iOS 13.5.5 and macOS Catalina 10.15.6 beta:

Apple has released the first Beta version of the iOS/iPadOS 13.5.5 update. After installing the correct configuration file on Apple's Developer website, you can download iOS and iPadOS 13.5.5 from the through OTA. by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update


iOS 13.5.5 appears to include a new “Apple News+ Audio” feature that will be available through the existing News app, which will get a new “Audio” tab. Users will have access to some recorded audio news instead of text. It will also support integration with Siri.

macOS 10.15.6


A week after the release of macOS Catalina 10.15.5, Apple has also released the first Beta version of macOS Catalina 10.15.6 update for developers to test.

Users can download macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Beta from "Software Update" in "System Preferences", or go to the Apple's Developer Center to download the beta.

Like iOS 13.5.5 beta, we are not clear what features or improvements will be introduced in the new beta of macOS Catalina, but it may focus on performance improvements, security updates, and fixes for bugs that could not be resolved in previous updates.
