L0vetodream, a leaker who has oftentimes been reliable in the Apple community, shared the naming of the upcoming iPhone 12 lineup on Twitter today, in which he says that there are four iPhone 12 models, which will be named iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
These names are likely to correspond to the three expected sizes of the iPhone 12 lineup. The 5.4-inch model is the iPhone 12 mini, the 6.7-inch model is the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the two 6.1-inch models are the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.
Since there are four new iPhones in this year’s lineup, using four different names will help distinguish the models significantly.
