Apple Announces Third Fall Event, Expected To Introduce ARM Macs

Apple has sent out invites to an event that will be held at Apple Park on November 10, which is also the third Apple event in this fall. The company is expected to debut new Macs that feature its Apple Silicon chips

Prior to this, Apple released iPad 8, iPad Air 4, Apple Watch Series 6/SE in September; in October, it has announced new products including iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and HomePod mini.

In June this year, Apple announced that it would release its first self-developed Apple Silicon processor before the end of the year. Apple believes that the chip is the core of the hardware and the foundation of the product. Apple's self-developed chips will use the ARM architecture.

The company also said that the first Mac outfitted with Apple's self-developed ARM chip will be available at the end of the year.

Rumors have it that the new ARM-based MacBook and iMac are come with A14X and A14T processors, respectively, based on TSMC's 5nm process.

It is worth mentioning that macOS Big Sur, which is first adapted to the Apple Silicon processor, has not yet been released to the public, so the operating system should be officially released after this event.
