Apple Rumors To Launch AirPower In March, An 11-Inch iPad Pro Expects At WWDC 2018


According to a report by the Taiwan's Economic Daily News, which says an 11-inch iPad Pro and an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro are expects to be released at Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Another Taiwanese website DigiTimes that claims Apple to launch its wireless charging mat AirPower later this month.

EDN said both new iPad Pro models are expected to feature Face ID and faster eight-core Apple A11X processors. On the other hand, the report adds that Apple's no plan to launch new iPhone models in the first half of 2018, as KGI's analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had already cast doubt on rumors about a second-generation iPhone SE.

Digitimes wrote that the company to release the AirPower that have a maximum charging performance of up to 29 watts, compared to 7.5 watts for single-device wireless charging pad. The accessory will capable of charging multiple Apple devices at once, including the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, and Apple Watch series 3 models.

While it's still unclear if Apple will announce the AirPower's availability either via press releases, a so-called March Event, or just quietly with an update to its online store. But for sure, that Apple will have WWDC 2018 in the June 4-8 in San Jose, California, in the time, we will see the inturduces of iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5, as well as tvOS 12.
