According to a new report by Bloomberg that has corroborate the rumor which KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple plans to release ‘high-end over-ear’ headphone, alongside an additional detail regarding Apple's plans for the cans.

The report points out that due to multiple design changes a public launch can be expected no earlier than December 2018, in other words, the product will be launch in 2019 or even later. The sources also indicate Apple plans to include similar wireless pairing functionality to the AirPods, and able to blocking out ambient noise

The Cupertino, California-based technology giant is working on noise-canceling, over-ear headphones that rival headsets from market leaders like Bose and even the company's own Beats by Dre brand, according to people familiar with the product's development. The company plans to launch the headphones as early as the end of this year, but has faced development challenges that might push back the release, the people said.

Another interesting fact about the headphone is that Apple been working on the project for some time, similar to the HomePod which was reportedly in production for five years, claiming that the company may scrap the project entirely if they are unable to overcome their “development challenges”.

We still unclear the pricing of the product, normally, some famous headphone brands such as Beats, Bose, and Sony charges $350 for their high-end headphones, so I could imagine the price will be around $300-$400. What do you think of the upcoming "high-end over-ear" headphone, are you planning to buy it.
