Mophie has announced its latest wireless charger called Charge Stream Pad+ for Apple's iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X. The accessory is also its first universal high-speed wireless charging accessory designed for Samsung smartphone users.
For iPhones, the Charge Stream Pad+ supports the faster 7.5W charging that Apple introduced back in December with iOS 11.2. It comes Smart charging circuitry inside of it that communicating an iPhone or other smartphone to determine and deliver the optimal amount of power.
The wireless charger offering puts out up to 10W of power, but iPhone owners won’t be able to make use of the extra 2.5W, as Apple currently only supports 7.5W charging. Even though it capable of fast charge, it's limited to Android devices.
The Mophie Charge Stream Pad+ comes in black or white color, and it ships with a 5 foot micro USB cable and QC 2.0 power adapter. You can purchase the accessory through Mophie's official website for $59.95.
