Apple Pushes iOS 12 Beta 11 With New HomePod Features, New Map For All California Users

Just four days after it seeded iOS 12 beta 10, Apple pushed beta 11 to the developer community this afternoon, it also released the public beta 9 at the same time. To update your devices to the latest beta, go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. They also released macOS 10.14 beta 9 and tvOS 12 beta 9.

Obviously, it's the end of August, which normally suggest that Apple will release the official software updates in the next two or three weeks. The beta itself has fewer and fewer bugs and is running snappier. While Apple still hasn't release Siri Shortcuts app for iOS 12 users, which allow you to create own voice commands.

However, Apple did make some changes to the beta 11, start with all devices now supports 3D Touch ‘Clear All Notifications’, and couple HomePod features such as you can now control the speaker volume from your iPhone, auto match volume on multiple HomePods and new Map data rolls out to all California users.

Apple typically launches the GM version just before the day of the September event, and it's hard to say whether the company will update the beta again during this period. So we should expect that Apple will push the Gold Master end of the week or next Monday.
